  • September 14 - 15 Kentucky Association for Environmental Education at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park

CEE will have two presentations at this conference by Rosie Santos, Dr. Kerlin, and Mark Tiemeier. Attend our sessions to learn about ongong Green School research and our new Water Quality App for iPads and iPhones. Click to register.

  • September 22 - 23 Great Outdoor Weekend 

The CEE will have an educational booth and activity as part of the World Water Monitoring Event at Newport on the Levee plaza in front of the Newport Aquarium from Noon-4 PM on Sept. 22. More information? Click here.

  • October 5 Waterific

The CEE will lead an instructional station at the annual fall Waterific Event for elementary students at Santitation District #1.

  • October 9-12 North American Association for Environmental Education

Dr. Kerlin will present 2 EE research projects and a 3rd workshop presentation about our new Water Quality App for iPads and iPhones.

  • October 16 Lunar and Meteorite Certification

This 4 hour course is lead by our NASA AESP Educational Specialist for KY, Mr. Brandon Hargis. With this certification educators will be able to sign out pieces of actual lunar rocks and meteorites from NASA to use for a couple weeks in their lessons and programs. Lesson ideas will also be provided. The certification is free! It will be held on October 16 from 4-8 PM at Tichenor Middle School. Email Brandon Hargis to register (brandon.hargis@nasa.gov).
