Dr. Vanessa Hunn is assistant professor of social work in the Counseling, Social Work, and Leadership Department at Northern Kentucky University. Previously, she was assistant professor of social work at University of Southern Indiana, and adjunct professor for University of Kentucky. She has extensive social work practice experience including child protection, medical social work, counseling, and administration. Dr. Hunn has several international presentations of her research including a presentation at the International Conference on Social Sciences at Helwan University, Cairo Egypt, and the Hawaii International Conference on Social Sciences, Honolulu, HI as well as regional, state, and local presentations. She currently serves on the Northern Kentucky University Institutional Review Board (IRB), serves as ad hoc reviewer for several national academic journals, and holds several professional memberships.
