Mixed method research: Instrument development for investigating educator dispositions
Description: Since 2000, dispositions inclusion in the conceptual framework of teacher education programs has become mandatory (NCATE, 2000). In seeking to investigate the ways in which and to what extent dispositions were included in the curriculum, taught and assessed in pre-service teacher preparation programs in the U.S.A., a search for appropriate survey instruments was conducted. When no such instruments were found, two had to be developed to answer my research questions leading to the completion of my dissertation.
