It is the purpose of The Kentucky Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (KACTE) to stimulate improvement in the preparation of teachers and other educational personnel in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. KACTE is an affiliate of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE).

    • All KACTE institutions are encouraged to send a representative to Day on the Hill training and lobbying Congress.

  • KACTE Summer Retreat
    July 24-25, 2008. Location:  Fairfield Inn – Georgetown . Retreat begins at 5:00 p.m. June 24.
    • Meeting and dinner ends at 9:00 p.m.
    • June 25, 8:30 – 2:30.
      • AACTE Representative Andrea M. Pagano will attend.

  • Fall Retreat/Workshop October/November 2008. Location TBA.
  • Spring Conference
    Georgetown College April 16 & 17, 2009. Tentative.
